The Building Community program BCP, designed to empower communities/organizations into a dignified life free from poverty and economic dependency by enabling asset-based sustainable solutions. In its uniqueness, the BCP can be adapted to different development challenges like unemployment, public health, poverty, agriculture, and climate resilience, etc. It is designed to fit a wide range of target groups including organizational leaders, women, and men in communities as well as children. The Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) is the central approach for the program.
The full program involves community/organizational training, Asset-based skills development, and Asset-based scaling. We walk with the organization from inception to an evaluation of the impact of the BCP interventions and this includes the provision of relevant Monitoring, evaluation and learning tools to monitor outcomes as they occur.
Our training leverage participatory and experiential learning approaches that equip the participants with skills and tools to implement change and take immediate action. This is done by taking communities through a process of identifying skills, knowledge, and capabilities within themselves, which they can use to drive their own development. We offer this training to communities we directly work with or through organizations established in other communities.

In an effort to ensure sustainability, we equip organizationally and change leaders with the relevant skills to apply asset-based approaches. The aim of the training is to introduce the organizational leaders to the Asset-based development models and how to apply them to their communities and organizations.
We help organizations/communities to further develop and scale their asset-based solutions through partnerships with skills development trainers and investment partners. The aim of this phase to help community groups to improve their solutions and identify possible ways to grow them.
